2020 is Art and Roses' 30th year! This beautiful outdoor art event showcases Idaho's fine artists with all original work- no prints or crafts. A portion of all sales will benefit the Julia Davis Memorial Rose Garden. I will be setting up at 11:30 am and playing mostly original songs till 1:30 pm. My beautiful Mom-in-love will be showing her original paintings in the park as well and the family will be hanging out so come on by!

Looking forward to playing a music set for Food Truck Tuesday next week on the 23rd up here on the Bench! Wright Community CCOC is just East of Fred Meyer on Franklin. I notice from earlier pictures that there is lots of shade, a variety of food trucks, friendly smiling people and a beautiful cat named Olive you will not want to miss!

So happy to be returning to Art & Roses again this year to support our local Idaho artists!  

I will be playing a 45-minute music set from 7:00 - 8:45 pm on February 19th! I'll be sharing both new and seasoned original songs along with their song stories. This is a cozy listening room where coffee, tea and refreshments are offered! The artist that night will be Annalisa Lingren who will share about her work at 7:50 p.m. and her art will be on display all evening. The 2nd music set will be the fabulous Mike Brown - his songs are amazing and well-crafted so you won't regret staying till the end! His set is from 8:15 - 9:00p.m.

The venue is located on corner of Fairview and 5-Mile, down from the Ace Hardware store where Kmart used to be. I will be playing three 15 min sets one each hour so my stage times should be 6:45 - 7pm, 7:45 - 8pm and 8:45 - 9pm if everything stays on-time.  I'm sure I'll play at least the first 2 sets but can't guarantee the third one. Looking forward to whatever the night brings no matter what!

Kind Cuisine Cafe prepares garden fresh, multi-cultural cuisine...source local & organic plant-based ingredients for our all vegetarian, made-to-order creations, that will delight and nourish with kindness and well-being for all...ample vegan, raw and gluten-free choices...fresh made juices and smoothies, super foods additions, craft beers and local wines.... I've got to say - I'm not a vegetarian but I have loved the food each time I've dined there! 

Looking forward to being part of the musical line-up for a Benefit Concert for Church of the Rock on Nov 14 - an all-volunteer church that does big things for its community!  Performances by singer/songwriters: Nancy Kelly, Sarah Jane Sunshine, Monelle Smith, Will Smith, Ryki Bibby Bowen, Naomi Psalm, R.k.
